1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using the iOS app "PrimeLapse" (the "App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Provider
PrimeLapse is developed and provided by Jan Drebes (sole proprietor), Unterägeri, Switzerland. Contact: support@primelapse.app.
3. Purpose of the app
PrimeLapse is a timelapse and camera app for iPhone with manual pro control (including RAW/ProRAW/DNG, Apple Log, HDR, exposure, white balance, interval shooting, and 4K export). The app is intended for creative and private capture.
PrimeLapse is not a replacement for professional capture, surveillance, or safety equipment. Do not rely on the app where errors could cause harm. Always comply with applicable laws, especially when filming in public or under drone regulations.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the App only in accordance with applicable law — in particular personality rights, copyrights, and property rights when recording in public places or on private property.
- Understand that capture quality depends on hardware, light, settings, and environment.
- Ensure your device is compatible and keep the App up to date.
- Regularly back up important projects (e.g. export or the Files app). To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for data loss from device failure, iOS updates, app deletion, or use outside the App's intended functions.
5. In-app purchases and PrimeLapse Pro
PrimeLapse may offer paid content and features. We currently offer the one-time purchase "PrimeLapse Pro" through the Apple App Store.
In free trial mode, up to 50 photos per project and up to 10 photos in the preview folder are allowed; direct video recording stops after 50 frames. Other features may be limited. Purchasing PrimeLapse Pro removes these limits (up to 3,600 individual frames per recording; direct video for as long as storage and battery allow). Already saved photos and projects remain even if the free limits apply again.
Purchases are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store. We do not receive payment card data. Prices, taxes, and currencies are shown and charged by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage purchases and unlocks.
We may later offer or adjust features, prices, and additional purchase models (including subscriptions). An existing lifetime purchase of PrimeLapse Pro remains valid under the feature description applicable at purchase and Apple's rules, to the extent permitted by law. New features may be provided free of charge, as part of PrimeLapse Pro, or as a separate offering.
Refunds follow Apple's policies and applicable consumer protection law. Subscriptions, if offered, can be cancelled in iOS settings before renewal.
6. Intellectual property
All rights in PrimeLapse, its code, design, and content belong to Jan Drebes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as mandatory law allows.
Your own photos and videos belong to you. PrimeLapse claims no ownership of your captures.
7. Warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation or fitness for every purpose.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss. Our total liability relating to the app is limited to amounts you paid for PrimeLapse in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory liability (e.g. for intent) remains unaffected.
9. Changes
We may update PrimeLapse and these terms. The current version is published on this website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may restrict access for violations of these terms or legal requirements.
11. Governing law
Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction is Switzerland where permitted. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
